Black Butte

Black Butte. Always a summer highlight. We headed down in our car to meet up with the rest of the clan after a Sunday afternoon wedding we attended (one of THIRTEEN between May and October)! It was a long but exciting drive...knowing we were headed to the ranch ;) As always, it was filled with many late nights, lots of chatting, games, junk food, pool trips, shopping trips...and a few additions: Emily, beading anklets for Uncle Ron, new house...it was great. I (Lisa) was sick for the first few days (yuck) but once I was all better, we were back in the swing of things. The best part of the entire trip for sure was going to Lake Billy Chinook (many pictures enclosed in this entry) and talked Dad into renting a SPEED boat this year (instead of a SLOW, boring...party boat) Boy did we have fun. Danny wakeboarded, Matt tried, and the rest of us enjoyed tubing while Dad went faster and faster. It was a blast!! We're definitely adding that to the itinerary again next year.
